2019 Port City Beer Run
There will be a run, then we have the beer!!
This event is being held on Saturday, June 1st. Run will start at noon with bib pick up starting at 10:00 at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal. Run 3k, 5k, or 10k and then take part in a beer tasting. There will be music, food and prizes!
3KM route:
Start at Marco Polo, run down Water Street to Market Square. Run through the boardwalk, by the Hilton on the Boardwalk, to Harbour Passage. Turn around is the stairs at the start of Harbour Passage. (Water Station)
5km route:
Follow 3km route through Harbour Passage, past the HMCS Brunswicker and onto Chesley Drive. Run as far as the Pavillion at the bottom of Bentley (end of Harbour Passage) at turnaround/ water station. Return and run back on Chesley Drive up to HMCS Brunswicker, across Harbour Passage, the Boardwalk and onto Water Street – finishing at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminal
10K route:
The 10k runners will follow the 5km route. At the Pavillion on Chesley Drive, they will cross the street (Bentley intersection) continue running as far as Main St. W/Lancaster and turn right on Main Street West (Westbound side of RF Bridge) up to Moosehead Breweries (water station and turn around point). They will then return down Main St. W to Chesley Drive. They will cross the Chesley St at Bentley. They will turn at HMCS Brunswicker, continue through Harbour Passage, the boardwalk and finish at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminal on Water Street.
