New Beginnings Run 2019 route with turn around points/relay point
471 Relay Info:
The first member of your team will start at our start line at Kiwanis Park North. Team member 1 will run north and follow the half marathoners.
The second member of your team will start at our relay point spot on at 7km. Team member 2 will run north and follow the half marathoners, turn around point is after 3.5km of running this 2nd leg. Team member number 2 will meet the third member of your team at the same relay point as before after completing 7km in total. Team member 3 will run the remaining 7km and finish at Kiwanis Park North, following Half Marathoners back to where we started.
Parking:
Kiwanis Park North is located right in the heart of Saskatoon.
Parking can be found on the street, right in front of the Delta Marriott or Bessborough Hotel or all around the downtown area.
Parking is free on Sunday’s in Saskatoon!
All finishers receive medals! Make sure to collect your’s and wear it with pride!

4seventyone Recovery Resources is pleased to announce their second annual fundraiser:
the New Beginnings Walk and Run.
By taking part in the New Beginnings Run & Walk, each participant will help us achieve our goal of recovery and rehabilitation assistance to
anyone who is ready to work through their addiction.
In addition, we offer help to families affected by addictions.
Right now we have councillors and anonymous outreach options to help point in the right direction how to find the help needed for each individual case.
Race Details
Race Kit Pick Up is being held on
Saturday, June 15th from 10am - 3pm
at Brainsport in Saskatoon.
Please make sure you or someone you know is picking up your race kit as
we will not hold or mail race kits.
Kit pick up is only being held on June 15th.
We won't offer race day kit pick up.
Runners or walkers can participate in our In it for the Long Run Half Marathon, Fearless and Fierce 10K, Break the Cycle 5K, Walk A Mile In Their Shoes 1Mile, or our 471 Relay 3x7K.
4seventyone is trying to make a difference in our community by helping addicts and their family members in the rehabilitation process.
Support our Saskatchewan based non-profit organization 4seventyone Recovery Resources with your participation.
All proceeds after event cost is covered will go directly to this newly formed service for anyone reaching out for help.
What’s included in your registration:
- Race bib with built-in timing chip
- Technical t-shirt (guaranteed sizes until May 16th, shirt cut off date is June 1st)
- Commemorative finisher medal for all finishers
- Water stations and entertainment
- Oncourse services including toilets, electrolytes and more
- Exciting downtown Finish Line with music, food, and silent auction at 11:30am
- Free expo with info about public and private options for recovery and rehabilitation on race day
Relay Teams:
Important: Relay teams must have 3 participants per team.
To sign up a relay team, one person on the team must select "471 Relay - Half Marathon TEAM CAPTAIN" under event options.
- You can register everyone on your team at once, or each team member can register individually.
- To register multiple team members at once, click "Add Another Team Member" after filling out each person's info and select the sub-event "471 Relay - Half Marathon TEAM MEMBER (FREE) 3 x 7km = 21km" for all additional team members.
- The team captain will need to create a team name and password during registration. Your team members will need to have the team name and password handy in order to complete registration, please pass this information onto them!
- The cost for each relay team member is paid by the team captain ($150 +taxes & fees)

All registrations are final. There are no refunds on registration fees and no transfers will be permitted. By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you understand our NO REFUND POLICY. There is absolutely no refund of your entry, no roll-over of your entry to a future year.
