Join us on June 8, 2019 for the 9th annual FAB 5K Community Challenge 5K Walk/Run and 1K Dash. This race is open to runners and walkers alike and is the big day FAB Girls train for as part of the FAB Girls 5K Challenge Program. The energy of this race, along with witnessing their determination and confidence, is truly inspiring. A FAB Girl’s proudest moment is realizing her goal by crossing the finish line.
In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastics at our events, we are excited to announce that the 2019 Fab 5K Community Challenge will again be a plastic water bottle-free race. Please bring along a reusable water bottle! #HydrateResponsibly

About the FAB 5K Challenge Program
In 2009, the FAB Girls 5K Challenge Program was piloted with only nine FAB Girls and two volunteer coaches. The 12-week, innovative running program has since grown, taking hundreds of girls in grades 6-8 through a physical journey of goal setting helping build their self-esteem and achieve their proudest moment of crossing the finish line at the FAB 5K Community Challenge. The race itself is now entering its eighth year and continues to grow. Since the first edition in 2011, more than 1000 men and women, from beginner to elite runners have joined the FAB Girls to participate in a fun and physical challenge.

Participants who raise more than $75 in pledges will be reimbursed their registration fee by cheque, following the event. All fees non-refundable and non-transferable. An online registrations Service Fee will be applied.
