Miles for Migraine - Patient Education Day - Boston
In a continued effort to create awareness about migraine and headache disease, we are hosting our 2nd annual Miles for Migraine Education Day, in conjunction with the Headache Cooperative of New England (HCNE) at The Colonade Boston Hotel. The event will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019, from 9:30am-12pm.
The day will be both informational and interactive. Our goal is for the person with migraine, cluster and other headache diseases to both learn and be supported. Topics will cover coping strategies, advocacy, reducing stigma, research, and medical advancements. There will be time to join with others in a supportive and safe community. Members of the pharmaceutical industry will be present to share information on the latest medical treatments and therapies.
We have invited local doctors and other providers, including Dr. Randall Weeks, to give two lectures followed by an open Q&A panel discussion. You will also have time to connect with other people in the community to discuss topics relevant to advocacy or simply chat about whatever your want. Breakfast included.
The full program, with speakers is available at https://www.milesformigraine.org/educational-events/
