Join us on Saturday, September 14th in support of The Meaford Hospital Foundation as we complete a clue-based adventure race complemented by numerous physical and mental challenges designed to test racers strengths, where they will experience the best of our area's landscapes and communities. The event will start and end at Grandma Lambes with 10-12 challenges between Meaford, Thornbury and Kimberley.
We will be accepting teams of 4 or 5 for a cost of $300.00 per team. The first person from your team will be required to pay the initial fee of $300.00. Each team member MUST register for liability and tracking purposes as well for access to their own fundraising page.
Each team will be expected to raise $1,000 before race day! If your team does not raise $1,000, you will need to complete a Speedbump challenge during the Race. Our intuitive website will help you get pledges from family, friends and co-workers and we can also help give you ideas for success! Host a garage sale, bake sale or have a car wash! There is lots of time to work as a team to raise the $1000.
One team member MUST have a valid drivers license and required to be the designated driver for race day. A valid drivers license will need to be provided on race day. (A reliable vehicle and full tank of fuel is also highly recommended as you will be travelling the area). During the day your team might encounter a *DETOUR, *SPEEDBUMP or *ROAD BLOCK.
Mulligans will be available for purchase on the morning of the event. (1 mulligan per team at a cost of $100.00). A Mulligan allows you to skip a challenge at any time during the day. The Mulligan must to given to a volunteer at the Challenge to skip the challenge and receive your next clue.
At the end of the day, we will feed your hungry bellies with dinner followed by some fun awards!
*Detour - choice between 2 different tasks
*Speedbump - all 4 members must complete the challenge. Given to the team that doesn’t raise $1000.00
*Road Block – 1 member must complete a challenge.
