My Story…
I am Isla. I am a 9-year-old girl, who loves to run! I love to run, but I also love recognizing people who don’t always get the credit they deserve. This time I would like to recognize the doctors and nurses who work at the Deep River Hospital. My new goal is to raise $1000, and I need YOU to help me! To help, make a pledge, whether it be $1 or $50. One small change can make such a great impact on someone’s life. I am running for the doctors and nurses, and my goal time is 24 minutes. Last year, my time was 26:57, and recently I ran Ottawa’s Tamarack 5km in 24:47. You’re probably wondering why I’ve decided to do this. I’ve decided to do this because when I was younger, I got pneumonia twice and croup once. Guess who cured me? The doctors and nurses of Deep River’s hospital. Wow, that’s awesome! The Donations help to buy hospital equipment. I hope you can help by donating, and as I said, it doesn’t have to be much.
