In January 2018, Laurel Sunderman was diagnosed with Stage III primary peritoneal cancer, a type of ovarian cancer. She underwent 2 surgeries and 18 weeks of chemotherapy and received tremendous support from family and friends. She has shown no signs of cancer since July 2018! But for survivors like Laurel, the fight is not over. Last year, the Sundermans started the Ova Achievers and participated in their first Let's ROC Run! Now, they're making it an annual tradition.
