THE ANNUAL FOSTER CARE 5K RUN/WALK WILL TAKE PLACE IN OVERTON PARK (EAST PARKWAY PAVILION), MEMPHIS, TN.
Goodwill Homes was founded in 1957, as the first residential facility for abused and neglected African American children in the state of Tennessee. Since its inception, Goodwill Homes has continued to provide services to children who need a temporary placement until they can be reunited with their family or adopted.
Your generous contribution will help enhance our Foster Care program. While the agency receives funds to provide for the basic needs of our children, there are other activities and necessities that are essential to ensure that the children are well rounded and have every opportunity to have an active part in the community. These funds will assist with graduation expenses, scholarships, costly extra-curricular activities/ uniforms, school trips, equipment, etc. These funds will also be used to raise awareness about Foster Care, the need for more foster families and resource opportunities for foster children.

Registration opens at 8:00am, the race starts at 9:00am.
Funds raised from the 5K Run/Walk will benefit Goodwill Homes and honor our former CEO, Ms. Barbara J. Motley's contribution to the agency.
