Come for the 5K - stay for the fireworks! Enjoy the closing night of the Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset with a flat and fast 5K along many bike/walking paths on the west side of town. You'll see a field of soy beans, a disc golf course, and maybe a few fire flies throughout the course. Awards will be given out on the main stage between bands and stick around for the 9:30 fireworks that you can see from about any vantage point in the park. Just Added **1 FREE Beer per runner over 21.

Packet Pick up
Anyone registered after Wednesday, August 28, your packets will be available at race site Sunday, Sept 1 starting at 5 pm.
Running Depot of Crystal Lake will be your pre-race packet pick up location on Thursday, August 29 (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.) Friday, August 30 (10 a.m. - 8 p.m. ) and Saturday August 31. (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
Also, you can pick up your packet at the race site on Sunday, September 1 beginning at 5 p.m.
AWARDS
Earn an authentic "16 ounce glass Fireworks 5K pilsner" for 5 year increment age groups starting at 15 and under up to 70+. Awards will be done at the main stage between the two entertaining bands at the festival.
