My name is Cassidy and was diagnosed with very rare type of a blood cancer called undifferentiated leukemia which according to my doctor, I show two type of leukemia; Acute Myeloid(AML) & Acute lymphoblastic(ALL). My parents were very devastated and I was very sad about. I stayed at the hospital for about 8-months to get my treatment. My parents were there beside me throughout the process until I was clear and able have my bone marrow transplant. I am a very lucky and blessed because my Daddy was my perfect match to save my life and gave me his marrow. He is my super hero because without his marrow, I would not be here today! I went through a lot as a kid, I missed my entire 2nd grade of school, however, I was very lucky that I got home schooled by my teacher in first grade- she is one of my inspiration!
