Join us for the 4th annual PHL 5K Run/Walk! This event is hosted by Philadelphia International Airport and sponsored by American Airlines. This is a charity event that will support Habitat for Humanity and Eastwick Friends & Neighbors Coalition. Participants will get to experience running on an "actual runway" used by commercial aircrafts. Along the course you will get to see commercial and general aviation aircrafts taking off and landing (on different runways!) and you will see a display of Airport equipment such as Fire Apparatus, various types of snow removal equipment and airline ground support equipment. This is truly a once in a life time opportunity!
In addition to supporting worthy causes, participants will receive a moisture wicking PHL5K Run shirt, along with post nutrition food and beverages.
Award medals will be given to the top three male and top three female RUN finisher and NEW for 2019, AGE GROUP AWARDS! We will have the following age group awards for the top three male and female RUN finishers in the following category:
Note: All kids 12 and under will receive a pair of American Eagle or American Airline Wings to help them FLY around the course!

Course:
Proper Identification
Everyone MUST present a Valid Government/State Issued ID that matches your name and confirmation number on race day. Children over the age of 8 must have a photo ID – school ID is acceptable. Anyone under the age of 8, parents/guardians must show some form of ID such as a birth certificate or social security card. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Parking
Parking is Free! There is a small lot next to the run location and street parking will be available.
Spectators
All run participants will go through some type of security check prior to entering the run site – only participants will be allowed into the race area. Spectators are welcome but will not be allowed access to the secure area – such as the ramp, taxiways or runways – Spectators will have to remain in the parking lot.
Pets and Strollers
Unfortunately, No pets or Strollers will be allowed on the course. Authorized Service Dogs with Credentials will be permitted.
