STRONGER than Cancer Celebration of Life (8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) Families affected by cancer come from all over Palm Beach County & the Treasure Coast to celebrate their accomplishments and milestones. The Celebration of Life stations give the brave pediatric cancer “warriors” a fun and inspiring ways to express themselves. • Share words of motivation at the “Inspiration Station.”. • Blast cancer with chalk bombs at “Cancer Stops Here.” • Discover your inner warrior and get tips for healthy living. • Punch out cancer at “Fight Cancer Like a Kid”.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR PARTICIPATING IN 2019 STRONGER THAN CANCER CELEBRATION OF LIFE & 5K RUN/WALK!
We hope you had a wonderful morning. And you helped raise money to help local families who have a child diagnosed with cancer.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES MIDNIGHT ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3RD.
Registration desk will open at 6:30am on Saturday, October 5th.
Race day pricing:

LAST MINUTE DETAILS
1. Packet Pickup is scheduled for this Friday, October 4th, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Location will be the breezeway at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.
2. If you are picking up packet for more than one person, please notify us in advance. Send email to bscarlata@postfl.org. There will be a special line for multiple packet pickup.
3. Parking on the street the morning of the event will be limited. We suggest you park in the Courtyard by Marriott parking garage. That garage is very close to all the activities.
4. This is a family oriented event. Bring the entire family to run/walk the 5k, walk the 1 mile Warrior Walk, participate in the 100 yard kids dash or the 10 yard diaper dash.
5. This is a Superhero themed event. Feel free to come dressed as your favorite Superhero.
6. After the 5k and awards, there will be kids activities until 11:00am.
7. Have fun at the Celebration of Life stations honoring all cancer survivors.
8. Stay for the Cancer Survivor Ceremony at 10:00am.
Most importantly, have a fun, fun, fun morning.

This event is so much more than just a fabulous 5K! It is a life-affirming celebration with activities all morning to honor those who are currently battling cancer, have survived cancer, or have loved ones fighting any form of the disease. Becoming a sponsor is not only a meaningful way to pay homage to those touched by cancer, your generosity ensures the vital programs of POST (Pediatric Oncology Support Team) will continue to be provided to local families at no cost.

STRONGER than Cancer 5K Run/Walk (7:30 a.m.)
A beautiful, certified 5k course winds through Abacoa and ends at HOME PLATE in Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. This attracts competitive athletes, amateur runners and even walkers.
• Superheroes line the course
• Participants gets a distinctive medal and swag bag
• At the Honor & Memory Tent, dedicate your run/walk to your cancer hero, and wear their badge proudly on the course.
ALONG THE COURSE
Along the 5k course, athletes will earn mardi gras beads that honor a child’s cancer journey:
Blue Beads for HOPE
Red Beads for STRENGTH
Green Beads for RESILIENCE and TENACITY
GOLD Beads for BRAVERY at the Finish Line. Gold is the color of childhood cancer. Show your colors!
AWARDS
There are awards for:
• Best Overall Female and Male (10 year age groups)
• Best Fundraising Team, Best Team Name, Best Superhero Costume, Best Pet Costume
• Fastest Survivor (must register as a survivor to be included in this category)
Not up for a 5K? There’s something for everyone, including a family friendly 1-mile Warrior, Young Hero 100-yard dash, a 10-yard Diaper Dash, and Kidz Fun Zone with giant slide and fun games for all ages.
MEDALS
Finisher medals will be awarded to the first 500 registrants.
KIDZ FUN ZONE
This family-friendly event also has an amazing Kidz Fun Zone for the young and young at heart. Kids between ages 4 and 10 can run the 100 yard Young Hero Dash, while kids under 4 can participate in the 10 yard Diaper Dash.

STRONGER than Cancer Young Hero 5k will be held rain or shine ( but it's not going to rain!)
6:30 am - Registration opens: Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium
6:30 am – Honor/Memory Tent is open for your messages of hope and inspiration
7:15 am - Warm up
7:25 am – “Why we walk/ Why we fight” Moment of inspiration
7:30 am – 5k start for both runners (up front) and walkers – at University and Crescent
(between stadium and amphitheater)
7:45 am – 1 mile (untimed) start – same start line as 5k
8:00 am – Celebration of Life stations open
8:00 am – Kidz Fun Zone opens and is open until 11 am
8:30 am - AWARDS!
8:50 am – 100 yard Young Hero Dash (kids between 4 & 10)
9:00am – 10 yard Diaper Dash (kids 3 and under)
9:00 am – 5k and 1 miles courses close
11:00 am - Celebration of Life stations close
