Family Fun Run - ADULT REGISTRATION Closed

Run this fun short course around the block and through the fields with your family! Includes small obstacles (think elementary gym class) and missions to complete along your way. This registration is for ONE ADULT. Use "child registration" to register children for this event. Each family must have at least 1 adult particpating.

This event is for ages 3+. Children are not allowed to particpate without an adult.

Select this option if you want to participate in BOTH the 5k and the Family Fun run. This registration option is PER PERSON, and includes 1 t-shirt. You may add additional fun run only family members thru the "additional fun run participant" registration option.

General Information

The chip timed 5k race race will begin promptly at 9:00a.m.  

Race Timing
We use a disposable chip timing tag that runners receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. 
Runners MUST wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing in order to be timed accurately. The bib cannot be covered, holding it in your hand or putting it in your pocket will NOT read the chip. Do not bend the chip.  Smart watches such as Garmin and smart phones can interfere with the timing chip frequency.  Please do not adjust your watch or phone as you cross the finish line and come through the chute.  Disputes for times on Smart watches and smart phones will not be taken into consideration. 


Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick up is at Hodgkins Elementary (6516 S Kane, Hodgkins) on Friday, Sept 13 from 12-6 pm and Saturday, Sept 14 from 10 am - 4 pm and will be available on race day as well.   


Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up
7:30am-8:30am.  No registrations will be accepted after 8:30am

Awards
All Family Fun Run participants will receive a finishers medal. 5K awards to the top male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+
 
Parking
Free parking will be available 

Weather
Race will be held rain or shine. 
In the event of thunderstorms, participants will be directed to wait in a safe area inside the Spring Avenue/Gurrie Middle School building. There are no refunds in the event the race is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions.
