5k for Life

5k for LifeSuicide is something that robs people of their lives. It is the third leading cause of death in ages 15-24, which is devastating. On average, one person dies by suicide every 20 hours in Mississippi. No matter the reason, bullying, financial problems, or the feeling of the weight of the world coming down on your back, you deserve to live and your life is worth living!

This year I have decided to team up with some close friends to raise awareness for suicide prevention here in our Hattiesburg community, and I need your help! Let's show people in our very community that they matter and we're here to support/help them proceed with the precious gift of life. WE must help them understand that they have a community/family that cares for them and life is too precious to give up. No matter how dark and gloomy the skies may appear, the sun will shine again! Please Join me in this 5k for Life!!
