IVS Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk

Come join us at the Spooktacular first (official) IVS Trick or Trot Fun Run/Walk

What could be better than running through a cemetery on Halloween night??  Trunk or Treating while running through a cemetery on Halloween night!!

The run/walk will start near the base of the Michael Sonnemaker statue and then wind past the mausoleums and monuments in Springdale.  

(Don't be afraid -  all the spooks and goblins are trick-or-treating elsewhere.)  Along the way there will be trunk or treat stations to fill your goodie bag!  

Runners are encouraged to run in costume and enter the costume contest just before the fun run. 

A photo booth will be available for an enduring image of your fun!

All participants will receive a treat bag and memento of their run. 

Participants are required to bring a headlamp/flashlight.  Reflective gear is encouraged.

All participants registered by October 4th can choose the T-shirt option.  

If you won't be able to run but still want a cool shirt - that option is available as well!

Participants who choose the t-shirt option will receive a long sleeve tech shirt with Ivy the IVS Halloween cat (see above) on the front - great for your autumn practice runs or just chilling in front of a fire, making S'mores.   

Registrants after October 4th will not have the option to include a t-shirt. 

Extra shirts may be available for sale at the event. (Not a promise. :) 

Packet pick-up will be available on Wednesday, October 30th, from 4-7:00pm in the Woodruff parking lot

Limited registration and packet pick-up is available race day, between 5:00PM and 5:45 PM. adjacent to the Michael Sonnemaker Memorial Sculpture and Garden in lower Glen Oak Park (near the intersection of Abington and Perry Streets).

After the run/walk - join us at T&T's in Peoria Heights for spirits of a different kind.

Here at TLC Fosters, we are on a mission to help animals who have been living at a shelter or in a home where they were unwanted. Our service is all volunteer based and every animal has up-to date vaccines. We hope that you will help these animals find a “furever” hope.
