Hungry children aren't just statistics or sad stories on TV commercials.They are real and all too many of them are right here in the Northland. At Feed Northland Kids it is our mission to change all of that. That's why, in partnership with Harvesters, we work hard to provide children with backpacks full of food that keeps them going - and growing - strong through what otherwise might be very hungry weekends. But we can't complete our mission alone - we need your help.
The 9th Annual Bill Cross 5K Walk/Run for BackSnack will be held October 06, 2019 at Zona Rosa. The run is in memory of Bill Cross, former Mayor of Gladstone and a teacher, coach, administrator, mentor and role model for more than 35,000 area students. All funds raised from this event will support Feed Northland Kids.

5K Run: This is a 3.1 mile course through Zona Rosa that is open to all runners. Times will be recorded with awards awarded to the top three runners in each age category. Awards are also given to male and female overall winners over 40 and under 40.
5K Walk: This is a 3.1 mile course through Zona Rosa that is open to all walkers. Times will not be recorded, but there will be a clock to acknowledge finish times. No awards will be presented.
Kids .5K This is a loop around the square in the heart of Zona Rosa. Event is not timed and will take place after the majority of the runner/walkers have returned.
