On June 16th, 2019, Sawyer was diagnosed with a juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma (a brain tumor by his cerebellum). Just four days later, on June 20th, he had a successful brain surgery to remove it. It has been a journey no one should ever have to go on but God has been so present through it all. We are raising a hallelujah, praising Jesus for Sawyers healing! We are also praising Jesus for Dr Andrew Tsung, his team and all the amazing staff that took care of Sawyer....All the incredible prayer warriors across the WORLD who prayed for him....All of the friends and family who stood by the Bates family and helped us through it all!
