Updates (I will try to add information as it is asked)
Q - Is a runner allowed to stop to take breaks?
A - Absolutely! It isn't a speed event, but a time on feet event. You can stop to change clothes, eat and drink, use the bathroom. All we ask is a participant doesn't leave the site and come back.
Q - Is there a place to setup a tent to get changed in?
A - Yes, the middle of the track is a huge grassy field. We will have a place sectioned off for runners.
Q - What are the bathrooms like?
A - The bathrooms are built by the town and have lights and running water.
Q - Is the track lit?
A - Yes, there are lights around the track which will be on as it gets dark.
Q - What distance is the track?
A - The track was measured by the town as 2145 feet. 1.5 times around is 1 kilometer. 1 lap is approx 653 meters. We are working to have a second measurement to verify this.
Q - Is the Track certified?
A - We are looking into who did the measurement and will provide more info when we know.
Q - Will there be an aid station?
A - Yes there will be. We will have one aid station with some food and drinks during the event.
Q - Can I wear headphones?
A - Yes. Please be aware of your surroundings.
Q - Can I get my money back?
A - No, but you can sell your spot.
