Present the 2019-20 Dirty Trails Race Series

It's that time of year again. Cold weather is coming, and for runners that means pavement and treadmills. Come on out for a race series with courses that will shake up your routine with old school single track dirt trails, mud, branches, streams, and much more.

For those new to our trail series (It has been running in some form for over 10 years):
All events are 8 km in distance (approx.) .
All events begin Saturday morning at 10 am.
It doesn't get any simpler than this. A series to keep you fit and your training focused through the winter months.

Explore trails and terrain that showcase amazing natural areas of Windsor.
Expect some new twists as there is work being done on the trails at both venues.

Jan. 18, 2020 – What's That Smell? - 8k – Riverside Kiwanis Park (Little River Toboggan Hill)
Feb. 22, 2020 – Wish We Were Somewhere Else - 8k – Malden Park

Rules

Off-course excursions, whether by runner error, course marking error or marshaling error, are an inherent risk to an event of this type. While we make every effort to ensure that the course is well marked and marshalled, the runner assumes the risk of a possible off-course excursion.
Runners must carry water with them as it will not be provided along the race course.
Runners must stick to the official marked racecourse or risk disqualification.
Runners will be disqualified for any littering
Runners must be officially registered with a race number and have signed a waiver in order to be officially ranked in a race.
In the event of severe weather or impassable conditions an event may be postponed or relocated. In these cases participants will be contacted and informed of any changes by the organizers.
