Newport County YMCA Pie Run
The Newport County YMCA will host the 34th Annual Pie Run Thursday, November 28, 2019.
This Thanksgiving Day Race starts promptly at 8:30AM.
The 5-mile USATF sanctioned road race & 3-mile non-competitive walk/run,start and end in front of the Newport County YMCA in Middletown.
Entrants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be contributed to a local food bank.
Proceeds support the Y's Community Support Campaign and local charities.
Please be aware, you must register for the 2019 Pie Run by November 15, 2019 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

*On-line registration closes 11/26/2019 at 11:59 PM. After that registration will be available onsite at the Newport County YMCA 11/27/19 from 4 to 7 PM and 11/28/19 from 7:15 to 8:15 AM. Onsite registration will be $40 for the 5-mile run and $35 for the 3-mile non-competitive walk/run per participant. Taxes and processing fees are not included. All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Youth participants 7 or under on race day do not need to register, unless they would like a bib and shirt. Please be aware, you must register for the 2019 Pie Run by November 1, 2019 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Teams
Team discounts apply to those that register 4 or more participants at the same time. Each participant will receive $5 off their registration fee. Payment must be made in full for all team members upon registration.

Food Donation
FOOD DONATION:
Please bring a non-perishable food item to the race that will be donated to a local food bank.
Prefer canned goods or boxed items such as pasta, rice and cereal.
Prizes and Age Groups
Age Groups:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 +.
There will be a male and female winner for each age group.
Age Group Prizes TBD.
OVERALL WINNERS RECEIVE:
1st = $150
2nd = $75
There will be a male and female overall winner in 1st and 2nd place.
No duplicate awards. Awards to top two in each age group.
