This is the National Indoor 5,000 meter race walk championships - for Masters (Ages 35 and up), Open, and Juniors (Age 19 and under). It also has a 1,500 meter race walk for high school age athletes, and the ability for athletes to go on to 10,000 meters.
7:30am Registration Begins
8:30am 10,000 meters and fast heat of 5,000 meters begins
9:30am HS 1,500 meter race begins
9:50am Second 5,000 meter begins
Official 3,000 meter splits will be recorded for qualifications. Also for the 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 records may be set as we will have FAT for every lap and also the required judges for US and Canadian records.
Awards after the tabulation of results and the judges review. Championship medals will be awarded to the top 6 juniors (boys and girls) the top 6 open (men and women), the top 3 masters in each 5 year age division, and to the top 3 teams Open and Masters.
