Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach believes in community first. We assist our neighbors in need, helping them achieve their desired path to self-sufficiency. We work to address the root causes of poverty and create systemic change by providing basic and emergency resources, education and specific health programs, as well as coordinated services in the broader community. It is our calling to be a part of collaborative solutions so that everyone in our community can thrive.

Neighborhood House and The Outreach provide basic needs, emergency services, along with health and wellness programs to over 6,000 neighbors in need in the downtown Charleston and Johns, James, and Wadmalaw Island communities.
