Race4Warriors Event
This historic event will begin at the Bethany Beach boardwalk and travel up the coastline through Seashore State Park, Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, and end at the historic Fort Miles. The event is divided into a 5 mile and 20 mile race. Participants will be able to choice to compete in a run, march, or heavy march (20lb. pack). Additionally, there is a military and civilian category for each race.
This event will incorporate education with a friendly competition with our veterans. After completing the race, participants will have an opportunity to walk through three military tents packed with history of our involvement in the Middle East. In addition, all participants are free to join the "Celebration of Warriors" and have a chance to mingle with our veterans and learn more about the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the Middle East.
This will be the FIRST year of this historic event - Don't miss out.
