My Story…
Hello I am Angie Mailhot the newest member of the Railway City Road Race Committee. I joined this committee after witnessing the energy generated by all race participants in the 2019 year. It was amazing! This year the race is virtual. However, the energy by members and participants of this community remains strong and supportive..... which has inspired me to walk! This is the second year that I will be lacing up my running shoes and walking a 12 hours work shift on September 24th from 7 am - 7pm in support of this great community. This year I am walking in honour the memory of Rob Broadbent. Rob’s commitment to all individuals in this community was evident by the way he lived his life in service to the people of this community. He was a relationship builder and found away to bridge caps and bring people together. So this year I walk in support of STEGH, one of many local supports that Rob assisted for the benefit of the people in this community. So the purpose of this walk is to support this community and to fondly remember a friend who selflessly gave daily for the benefit of so many.
Donate to help Angie raise money for Railway City Road Races 2020 Virtual Run Across Elgin County’s fundraising campaign.
