SAN DIEGO LEPRECHAUN RUN
We regret to share that due to State mandate the San Diego Leprechaun Run has been cancelled for this Saturday in Pacific Beach.
On Wednesday night, Governor Newsom announced the new policy from the California Department of Health not allowing social gatherings larger than 250 people in order to protect our community from spreading the coronavirus (COVID-19). These are unfortunate circumstances but we fully support the State of California’s decision so we can best protect our community from spreading this virus.
While we are not able to host the run this Saturday, we are going to immediately move all participants to be a Virtual Runner. All Virtual Runners will be immediately sent their pre-selected participant goods, race bib and finisher medal. As a Virtual Runner, you can complete a 5K where and when you want. No official timing necessary. The Virtual Run will still count toward the 2020 PB 5K Challenge of Leprechaun Run, Pacific Beachfest 5K and San Diego Santa Run! Run with a group, run on your own or run with your 4 legged best friend. After your run, we’d love for you to share it with #sdleprechaunrun
Participant goods will be mailed in the coming days but as an effort to get your goods even faster, we are still holding packet pick-up! Here are the details:

Time: 3-7p
We are preparing an email to all our participants shortly with further information as well as an opportunity to confirm your mailing address if you wish to have your participant goods mailed.

Virtual Runner Closed
The San Diego Leprechaun Run now only has a virtual run option due to the new policy from the California Department of Health not allowing social gatherings larger than 250 people. If you still want to join us virtually, all virtual runners will receive in the mail their finisher medal, t-shirt, and race bib. Runners can expect to receive this 3-4 days after completing their registration. As a Virtual Runner, you can complete a 5K where and when you want. No official timing necessary. The Virtual Run will still count toward the 2020 PB 5K Challenge of Leprechaun Run, Pacific Beachfest 5K and San Diego Santa Run!
