Robinson Preserve Twilight Race Postponed

The team at Fit2Run, Robinson Preserve and Pace Manatee Center for Girls, have been working tirelessly to provide our registrants with the best possible runner experience, and we understand that going out for a run can be a valuable tool in promoting overall health.

Runner and community safety is top priority for Fit2Run and Manatee County, and unfortunately, traditional races offer unique challenges in maintaining appropriate social distancing to keep participants safe. Participants in the 2020 Robinson Preserve Twilight 5K & 10K will have the opportunity to participate in this year’s race virtually, or in a socially distanced, timed 5K at the Preserve on Saturday September 5^th.

All participants will receive a face buff, race shirt, race bib and medal, and coupon for a buy one get one free beer at Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton. Participants can opt to run virtually and self-report their time, or be timed at the Preserve the morning Saturday September 5^th. The course will be marked and results submission will be open for virtual participants Friday 9/4 through Monday 9/7. Participants who opt to run live and be timed will select a scheduled start time slot to ensure runner safety and the ability for physical distancing at the starting line.

Participants registering after 9/2/2020 must pick up their packets at Conley GMC Buick on Friday 9/4/2020 (12pm-5pm). Live Race Day Packet Pick Up and Registration will not be available.
