The 2020 Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Goes Virtual
Run Calgary is reinventing racing for a world that requires physical distancing.
This is not the virtual race of yesteryear.
The 2020 Scotiabank Calgary Marathon Virtual race window is from May 31 to September 27 and the Scotiabank Charity Challenge remains open until October 18th.
While we can't run together in traditional ways, we can still set goals, help each other achieve them and celebrate the wins.
Run Calgary brings the same passion and creativity to our virtual events that you have come to love and know from our Run Calgary events. Once you register you will receive further instructions to download RunKeeper and how you can manually upload your time to the Race Roster leaderboard.

50KM Ultra Relay - Captain Closed
Register between 2 - 4 people and do a social distancing relay by tagging your team on social media and adding your aggregate time to the app or do a traditional relay as a family and run with the people you live with and giver! Choose to do even legs or break it out to the unique distances and 4 legs that you will get on your medals.

Virtual Race Information
Run your race, your pace.... anytime and anyplace!
Purchase your registration between May 4 - September 26 and select to pick up your swag curb-side or we can mail it to you at no extra cost. Run your race sometime between May 31- September 27.
We encourage registered participants to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and right onto the leaderboard.
Alternatively, screen capture any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Strava, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload you time.
All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period.
GST & Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- No race day registration, bib pickup or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals under any circumstances.
