My Story…
Our son Duncan has been attending Foothills Academy for two years now. He has made so many positive changes and achievements since starting there! His confidence in himself and his ability to learn has increased tremendously! This is a kid who only two years ago fought and cried everyday on the way to school and left school in a mood, to a child who willingly gets up early to catch a bus to get to school. He willingly and easily completes his homework without issues. (Okay, the odd time there are issues, but he is a teenager after all!).
Foothills Academy has been a god send for Duncan and our family. He has been able to access so many outside supports that we fought for him to receive years in the regular school system. He and other kiddos like him need this school so they can confidently achieve their potentials. Please help us support this amazing school!

Join our team of runners and walkers to help ensure that every child or family affected by Learning Disabilities has the opportunity to participate in specialized, quality programs in a supportive environment with staff who are trained to address their needs. All funds raised will be directed to our Bursary Fund to support this goal. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join our team or donate to make a significant difference in the lives of many of the 1 in 10 Calgarians affected by Learning Disabilities.
