My Story…
My name is Duncan and I have been attending Foothills Academy for two years now. I have made so many positive changes and achievements since starting there! My confidence and ability to learn has increased tremendously! I wasn’t the kid who only two years ago fought and cried everyday on the way to school and left school in a mood. Ow I willingly get up early to catch a bus to get to school. I don’t fight to complete my homework. (Okay, the odd time there are issues, but I AM a teenager after all!).
Foothills Academy has been a god send for me and my family. Ive been able to access so many outside supports that my family has to fight for to receive years in the regular school system. Me and other kids like me need this school so we can confidently achieve our full potentials. Please help us support my amazing school!

Join our team of runners and walkers to help ensure that every child or family affected by Learning Disabilities has the opportunity to participate in specialized, quality programs in a supportive environment with staff who are trained to address their needs. All funds raised will be directed to our Bursary Fund to support this goal. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join our team or donate to make a significant difference in the lives of many of the 1 in 10 Calgarians affected by Learning Disabilities.
