My Story…
Sunday May 31st, 2020 was going to be the 10th annual Bike Walk Bike that I have done to raise money for the Foothills Academy. The current Pandemic has caused the Calgary Marathon to be cancelled as a mass event. My combined 5 km walk, 90 km bike ride was always something I did, basically, on my own, so I was going to do it anyway. I was so happy to find out the Calgary Marathon has gone Virtual, taking place between May 31st and Sept 27th.
More than ever, the Foothills Academy, needs their fundraising dollars that go to our bursary fund, paying the tuition for students that cannot, so nobody is turned away. I will do this ride and ride all summer, letting you know the new routes I have found. Please support our cause.

Join our team of runners and walkers to help ensure that every child or family affected by Learning Disabilities has the opportunity to participate in specialized, quality programs in a supportive environment with staff who are trained to address their needs. All funds raised will be directed to our Bursary Fund to support this goal. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join our team or donate to make a significant difference in the lives of many of the 1 in 10 Calgarians affected by Learning Disabilities.
