Notre histoire…

MEMC Crew - We make every moment count! Please join us as we walk/run for a reason at Ottawa Race Weekend May 23 and 24, 2020. MEMC Crew will be taking part in all the distances; 2k, 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon. Which distance will you cover? I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 7 years ago. I went through Whipple surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and gastric bypass surgery - all at The Ottawa Hospital. Pancreatic cancer has a 5 year survival rate of only 10% ... I'm extremely fortunate and grateful to still be alive ..... loving life, giving back, and inspiring hope. I'm also truly grateful for the family and friends that join me, as part of MEMC Crew, to walk/run at ORW, raise awareness of pancreatic cancer, inspire hope and encourage a more physically active lifestyle for others, and to raise money for cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital.
