My Story…
This is just the beginning for me. On October 29 o was sent for a brain MRI. I honestly thought it was a joke, I thought nothing would come of it and I would have some cool pictures of my brain to show for it. Within an hour of being home my pcp called and told me that my MRI was abnormal. He referred me to an MS specialist. At her office I saw the pictures of my brain with lesions on it. The process to an official diagnosis is not quick or easy. My next appointments are for an MRI of my neck and spine and then a spinal tap. Despite the testing still needed, my specialist says I have a classic case of MS. I have done a lot of reading in this time and have gotten a ton of info from the National MS society. I have also learned about how much they really do for people with this disease. I have decided to run for this cause. Im grateful for that I’m as physically fit as I am and I am going to show my gratitude for my legs by raising money!
