Regatta Bridge Run
The Regatta Bridge Run is one of the many activities planned as part of the Sixth Annual Bradenton Area River Regatta. Race across the Green Bridge and finish under the fireworks for the Regatta Bridge 5K Run and Walk. Each participant will receive a race shirt, finisher’s medal and glow gear to add to the festival atmosphere of the race. Runners will be chip-timed and will compete for special prizes for the top 100 male and top 100 female finishers. All paces including walkers are welcome and race festivities kick off with age-bracketed kids’ dashes. Bring the family for a fun filled day and celebrate that finish line feeling with access to the special runners' VIP area to watch the spectacular fireworks display over the river, all while enjoying a thrilling after party complete with El Indio Food Truck and beer!

Weather Cancellation Policy
We value runner safety. In the event of severe weather conditions, the director(s) reserve the right to cancel the race for the safety of its participants. Registrations cancelled due to inclement weather will not be refunded, but instead used to cover event costs, with the balance being treated as a charitable donation to the event beneficiary.
Conditions that may result in event cancellation include (but are not limited to): lightning, high winds, flooding, fires, and other acts of God.
Race Course
The Regatta Bridge Run will start in Palmetto on 10th Ave W between 4th St W and 5th St W. The course will turn left onto 4th St W then right onto 8th Ave west to cross the Green Bridge. Participants will travel to 3rd Ave W in Bradenton and turn around near the Manatee Performing Arts Center to come back across the bridge for a spectacular finish at Riverside Drive and 8th Ave.
The finish line area at Riverside Drive and 8th Ave West will be reserved for Race Participants, Sponsors, Vendors and spectators who have purchased wristbands.
