Help Cathy raise money

Did you know that childhood cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease in kids in the US? Childhood cancer research is desperately needed but vastly underfunded, and that is why I am committed to this cause. This is my second year being part of the Prayers From Maria Sunflower Striders team. This year I am dedicating my run to this little Warrior named Ella. Ella is a sweet, vibrant 3 year old that loves to swim, color and play with her big sister Lilly. Just last month Ella's parent's took her to the hospital because she was complaining of headaches. The neurologist ordered an emergency CT scan to be informed that a mass on her brain stem was discovered. She was moved to PICU, where doctors did an MRI and Ella was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), which is a very rare, aggressive and inoperable brain cancer. I am raising money for childhood cancer research to help children like little Ella.
