Help Angela raise money

For participating in Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon

My Story…

I don’t run. I hate running. BUT – I am running the 5K in support of the Concussion Legacy Foundation. CLF is leading the fight against concussions and CTE and is dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted. I’m raising for the CLF HelpLine – which provides one-on-one support to people struggling with the devastating symptoms of CTE. Four years ago on April 26, I lost my dad to CTE. He was 65. I actually lost him earlier than that. For years I watched him drift away. He’d forget simple words and phrases. There was rage. Paranoia. He developed severe dementia and was moved to a nursing home. After he died, my dad – who never played pro football, only through college – was diagnosed with Stage 4 CTE, the most advanced stage. The CLF HelpLine is helping patients and families as they battle this horrific disease. They’re helping make sure people don’t suffer the way you did, dad. Did you ever think I’d care about something so much I’d run a race for it? I miss you, pops.
