My Story…
A former soccer goalkeeper & ice hockey wing, at 46 years old, Eric Cressey got me so strong & quick that I became goalkeeper for Boston Team Handball Club. My 9th mTBI was in tournament on October 31, 2009, then my 10th on Dec 31, 2009, when the car I was riding in was crushed.
After 4 years of Post-Concussion Syndrome, I wrote ‘Tell Me This: Encouragement and Hope After Brain Injury’ to support those dealing with mTBI. I began speaking for the BIA-MA Ambassador program and advocating for especially female brain injured athletes. With tech support from a MIT BrainTrust buddy, I started a YouTube channel ‘Tell Me This’ in hopes to break the isolation of athletes struggling with PCS and help others with their recovery around the world.
