Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep 2020 Remembrance Walk FL

EVENT UPDATE: Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, NILMDTS has made the difficult decision to restructure the 2020 Florida Walk to a virtual walk. In order to prevent the spread of infection, the virtual walk will be held online on Saturday, March 28th where we will read all of the baby names. Online registration is now closed and walk t-shirts, program books, and other walk materials will be sent to all participants. If you did not receive the email, please contact us here.

The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk,

“Our Journey Together”

is for parents, family members, and friends

to come together to remember

a precious baby who has died due to

miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS,

neonatal or any type of pregnancy or infant loss.

The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk is an opportunity to bring honor to our babies and healing to our hearts. The Remembrance Walk also ensures future support to families who will sadly walk in our shoes one day.

The Florida Virtual Walk includes an online presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby. During the online presentation, each baby is honored by having his or her name read aloud. Following the presentation, we encourage participants to go on a reflective walk in their own communities.

REGISTER PRIOR TO 3/9/20: Registering your baby name(s) prior to 3/9/20 will ensure that their name(s) will be included on the back of the t-shirt and listed in the program book. We will not be able to accept any additional names for the t-shirt or program book after this date.

PRINTED MATERIALS NOTICE: Please be advised that no additional baby names will be added to the back of the t-shirt or program book. If you are adding a baby name that has not already been registered, we will make sure that their name is read during the presentation. If you have any questions, please email us at walk@nilmdts.org

CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration fees and add on purchase fees (additional walk shirts, butterflies, etc) are nonrefundable under all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation, or change in the date and/or time, nature, or format of the event. An event may be canceled or changed due to severe weather or other factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers. The money collected through registration fees will be used to propel NILMDTS mission forward.

If any walk is canceled, all participants will be notified via the email that you provided in your registration, and the information will be posted on our social media pages and our website: www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org.
