2020 Madison Mini Marathon, 5K & Kids Run

What Does it Mean That the Madison Mini Half Marathon, 5K & Kid’s Run is now “Virtual”?

The purpose of going virtual is to allow participants to complete the race that they have been training for, while adhering to the recommendations provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

FAST FACTS

• All currently registered participants will be automatically entered into the Virtual Event unless you choose to defer to 2021 or 2022. You cannot participate virtually and defer. Sorry, No Refunds.
• You may begin submitting results from August 1 – August 22, 2020.
• You may complete your run(s) whenever and wherever you'd like.
• Participant shirts and medals will be mailed out starting August 15, 2020.

I Bought Will Call and/or VIP, what next?

If you defer your registration to 2021 or 2022, your Will Call and/or VIP will transfer with you. If you decide to go virtual, a refund will be made.

I Purchased the Protection Policy When I Registered, How Do I File a Claim?

When you purchase a protection policy through FanShield, you will receive an email directly from them with the information on how to file a claim. If you did not see the email, you may go to this link to file your claim: https://www.fanshield.com

As a Virtual Event, the policy will still function the same and filing the claim will follow all the normal protocols.

How Do I Edit the Information I Entered in my Registration?

If you need to update your mailing address, please complete the following instructions:

• Sign into your Race Roster Account (www.raceroster.com)
• Navigate to the far-right corner of your screen and select the Menu
• Click Dashboard under the participant section.

Scroll down and click Edit Registration to change your mailing address.

I am A Member of the Founders Club, What Does This Mean to Me?

As a member of our Founders Club we understand your love of the Mini! For those Founders who choose to participate in the 2020 Mini Virtually, you will receive a limited-edition Founders Truckers Cap courtesy of FleetFeet! We are considering 2020 as a “Leap Year”. Your Founders Club status will stay in tack if you decide to defer to 2021.

Is the Illini-Badger Challenge Still On?

Due to both the Christies Illinois & Mini going virtually, the Illini-Badger Challenge will not take place in 2020. We look forward to our continued rivalry in 2021.

Is the Wisconsin 26.2 Challenge Still On?

With the Mini turning virtual, the Wisconsin 26.2 Challenge between the Mini and Milwaukee Brewers will not take place in 2020. We look forward to hosting the challenge in 2021.

I Bought an iTab, what’s next?

If you purchased an iTab and run Virtual, you will receive your iTab in the mail. If you chose to defer, your iTab will defer with you.
