10 YEARS OF LONGHORN RUN
Given the latest preventative measures set forth by The University of Texas at Austin and the City of Austin and because we care about your health and safety, Longhorn Run as you currently know it will be cancelled this year.
However, we are happy to be able to offer you two options: The option to participate in a virtual race option or the option to receive a refund for your 2020 registration. You may make your selection online any time between now and April 24, 2020 at 11:59PM CST. If you do not make a selection by the deadline, your registration will automatically be switched to the Virtual Race option.

While we can’t run together this year, we can still lean on the Longhorn community to reach our own finish line, wherever that may be. By registering for the virtual race, you’ll be able to bring a part of Longhorn Run with you as you chart your own course whenever it is safest for you to do so. In addition, proceeds from your registration still continue to support the UT student experience through the Student Government Excellence Fund. While there will still be more details to come about the Virtual Race option, visit utlonghornrun.com for a sneak peek at this re-imagined experience. Registration includes dri-fit Longhorn Run 2020 shirt and commemorative bib to be distributed at a later time

PHILANTHROPY
Your participation in the Longhorn Run supports the student experience at The University of Texas at Austin. Proceeds from the race benefit the Student Government Student Excellence Fund and the Recreational Sports Excellence Fund.
Resources from the Student Government Excellence Fund are meant to equip student groups with the tools to advance current projects or ideas, while promoting the ideals of giving and a spirit of service on the UT campus. These funds are allocated annually to student organizations through Student Government. The Recreational Sports Excellence Fund is focused on placing resources where they are most immediately needed to ensure that UT students have access to the highest quality recreational program in the nation.
