Annual 5K Run/1 Mile
Firefighter Memorial Walk
We are excited to announce and begin registration for our annual 5K Run and 1 mile Firefighter Memorial Walk that will take place on SEPTEMBER 5th, 2020! Everyone who wishes to participate is welcome! Our age groups start at 0-9, and we highly encourage families to participate.
Vendors are welcome this year! Along with our new venue we are welcoming all vendors to come and participate. For a $25 booth fee you can come set up a table, and if you wish you are welcome to walk with us during the Memorial Walk. Currently all spaces are available.
We are still seeking Sponsors for the event! Sponsorship is $100 and your logo or information for your business gets placed on the back of the event shirt. Everyone who participates gets an event t-shirt. Current Sponsors: First Choice Lawn Service of Savannah, Pickwick Parrot Heads, NAPA Auto Parts of Savannah, District 14 (Bruton Branch Fire), and Savannah Main Street/City of Savannah.
T-shirt only sales are available $20 per shirt! If you do not wish to participate in the event, but you would like a t-shirt you are welcome to order one.
This event started just a few years ago and has become a yearly fundraiser for the Firefighter Support Fund. The 5K Run is just as simple as that, awards start in age group 0-9 and go up from there. The 1 mile memorial walk is one that all first responders (FD, LEO, EMS, Dispatch) and their family/friends are welcome to take part in. It's a time used to reflect and respect those that have died in the line of duty or those that died later in life while dedicating their lives to save others. The Firefighter Support Fund was created to help aid local volunteer firefighters during their time of need. The only way for the Support Fund to collect monies is by hosting fundraisers or accepting donations. If you would like to be a vendor we charge a small fee to set up. All monies will go directly to the Firefighter Support Fund to help them in their efforts of raising money for their organization to help out local firefighters during their time of need.

If you would prefer to support us, but would rather not run or walk you are welcome to purchase an event t-shirt! Please be sure to type in your correct size. Don't forget to include a mailing address. Shirts will be ready for pick-up on the event day starting at 7am.

VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk Closed
Can't make it in person? Try our new Virtual 5K option! You can walk or run at your own pace starting now, June 22nd, and ending on September 5th. All those that complete the Virtual 5K will receive a medallion and a t-shirt sent to you. Age groups start at 0 and go up from there. Proceeds still goes towards the Firefighter Support Fund who support local firefighters during their time of need.
