Run to the Beat 5K Run/Walk

THANK YOU for registering for the Run to the Beat 5K Run/Walk in the beautiful San Bernardino foothills on the California State University campus!!!

We are delighted you are joining us for our Inaugural 5K Run/Walk where you will enjoy of a musical surprise around every corner... This event is for all levels and all ages. Bring a friend, bring the entire family! You will be running (or walking) to the beat of some fantastic music performed by students from our local schools!!!

We are busy making final arrangements to ensure everyone will have a fabulous experience. Current weather conditions appear to be perfect for running!!

Please read this final instructions and we can't wait to see you there!!!

Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes to 1 hour before the start of the race!

Check-in/package pick-up

• Check-in and package pick-up will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
• Pre-registered runners (by Dec. 30th) will have a Cool T-Shirt and a swag bag with LOTS of goodies from our sponsors!!!
  
• Venue: CSUSB Campus, 5500 University Pkwy, San Bernardino, CA
• Bring your ID to pick up your bib. You may pick up your friend's bib with a copy of a photo ID

Waiver:

All participants will need to sign the CSUSB Release of Liability Waiver and the San Bernardino Symphony Waiver at check in.

Awards:

• All pre-registered participants will receive a Note-able finisher medal and cool T-shirt (if registered before Dec. 30th)
• Awards will be presented to overall male/female (adult) and overall children under 15 years
• Age category division medals will also be awarded to top 3 male/female adults (Winners will be determined by chip time)
  
• Largest participating team will receive an award

Raffle Prizes:

• All participants will receive one complementary raffle ticket at registration for an opportunity to win a prize!!
• Be sure to bring some cash for additional raffle tickets to increase your chances of a prize!
• And remember, all donations will help bring music and arts to our local students!! This is a Win/Win opportunity!!!

8:00 5K runners/walkers start

9:00 - 9:15 Raffle prizes

9:15 - 9:30 Awards: Overall and Top Division placements

10:00 Event concludes

PARKING

• Follow GPS instructions to the California State University San Bernardino campus (CSUSB) Via University PKWY turn right on NorthPark Blvd., then turn left on Coyote drive. Park in LOT "G" ONLY
• Bring a copy of your parking permit receipt (if paid at registration) and place it on your dashboard
• If you did not purchase parking permit at registration, you will have to pay $3.00 parking permit to park in Lot G

PLEASE NOTE:

• The campus requires that every vehicle has a parking permit.
• Cars without a parking permit (or a copy of your receipt) may be towed.
• DO NOT park on any other Lot unless you purchase a parking permit from the CSUSB ticket Box

The event will take place rain or shine!!!

All volunteers, musicians and participants will need to sign two Releases of Liability waivers. One from our venue, California State University, San Bernardino and one from the sponsor of this event, the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra.

Get ahead of the crowd by printing, signing and bringing the waivers with you!
