My Story…
I am raising money for Sasamat Outdoor Centre because I know from personal experience the life changing impact summer camp can have on the lives of children and youth. In my years of working at Sasamat, I have seen campers grow and learn resilience, courage, empathy, leadership, and environmental stewardship and I want every child to be able to be able to experience this transformation. Your donation supports children and youth from low-income families to be able to access this vitally needed programming. Your support is especially needed now to help Sasamat weather a financially challenging time as most of their season has been cancelled due the Covid-19 pandemic. Please consider giving as generously as you are able.
Description
Sasamat Outdoor Centre offers a variety of programs such as Day Camp, Resident Camp, Family Camp and Facility Rentals for Community and School Groups.Sasamat Outdoor Centre offers campers the opportunity to participate in a wide range of outdoor activities in a safe, supervised environment and provides a peaceful wilderness setting with easy access to the hiking trails and recreational opportunities of Belcarra Regional Park and scenic Indian Arm Provincial Park. All programs are geared to the age and ability of the individual and to the interests of the group.
