My Story…
When I was first injured I was visited in the hospital by a BCPA/SCI BC, counsellor who was in a wheelchair himself. You can’t imagine how valuable the time he spent sharing his experiences and knowledge with that only a person who had experience what I was going through. He had “ Been There and Done That”
Over the next few years he and others from SCI BC provided support and guidance that helped get back at it. Twenty-seven years later, I am still benefitting from the time SCI BC spent with me and I see the same dedicated valuable support I received happening for others by the current team at SCI BC.
I am all in to support the programs and services of SCI BC, and, I could use the exercise, so I will be wheeling 5 km . Your support for SCI BC is all the motivation to finish the distance!
