RIDE AROUND LAKE COEUR D’ALENE
- All athletes, staff and volunteers will receive a CDA Fondo face mask for appropriate safety practices as directed by the PHD and the CDC and the State of Idaho. Any athlete currently experiencing symptoms or suspecting exposure are strongly encouraged to self-isolate and postpone their CDA FONDO until 2021.
- Packet pickup will be drive through style. Athletes will be emailed their ride number and will text their number to staff and will pick up their pre-filled bags from a socially distanced table.
- No start line in town. We will schedule all riders to begin their ride on CDA Lake Drive starting at 7 AM and lasting through 9 AM. Riders will receive their start times by email or at packet pickup.
- Aid stations will be spread out over a long distance with pre-packaged food on tables, including water bottles. No breakfast burritos this year in Harrison, we can not congregate in the park like we have in the past.
- Cruise boats will be 2 oversized boats limited to only 120 riders each. So Piccolo Fondo (CDA to Harrison with boat ride back to CDA) will be limited to 240 riders and Centro Fondo (boat ride to Harrison, then bike back to CDA) will be limited to 120 riders. Please register early because this is half the usual capacity and these spots will sell out.
- No finish line for Centro, Medio and Gran Fondo rides. We have been forced to drop the competitive timing portion this year due to distancing, but Your finisher medal will be in your packet pickup bag. We will provide a podium and backdrop for “I survived 2020” after pictures.
- Family Fondo is still scheduled. Riders will start at any time between 8 AM and 9 AM and will participate in a virtual scavenger hunt along the Centennial Trail.
- We will be providing “Oktoberfest” vouchers with our race bib numbers as usual. If the downtown association is able to hold their event, then these can be redeemed with them. If the Oktoberfest is canceled, then the CDA resort will host a socially distant after party on their front lawn for all riders.
- Vouchers will also be redeemable at participating restaurants and a list of these establishments will be provided as the event nears.

Boat ride for family and friends supporting the riders. This ride will depart independence point at 7:30 AM and arrive in the town of Harrison at around 9:00 AM.
