Raise money for YouthCO
YouthCO is a youth-led organization that works to reduce the impact of HIV and Hep C stigma on youth in British Columbia. We use peer education and peer support to help youth navigate sex and drug use, including providing access to relevant information and harm reduction supplies, as well as making referrals to other types of care we may need! In our work, we create opportunities for youth to be leaders in creating solutions to HIV and Hep C stigma. Across our programs, we work with youth from ages 6 to 29 years old who are living with, or disproportionately affected by, HIV and Hep C. This includes youth who are part of population groups that have elevated rates of HIV and/or Hep C, and youth who have someone they are close to living with one or both of these viruses. All of the money raised through the Under Armour Eastside 10k will go to support our summer camp program for youth living with HIV, called Camp Moomba!
