On March 20, 2020, the Provincial Government declared a State of Emergency in the Province of Manitoba due to COVID-19. Part of the news release included the following:"As authorized under The Public Health Act, the following measures will be in place, effective immediately, for a period of 30 days:
1. Limiting public gatherings of more than 50 people at any indoor or outdoor place or premises."This is a directive from the Provincial Government and the Chief Provincial Health Officer. These special orders may remain in effect until terminated. It is no longer a recommendation and events are required to comply.
