Raise money for Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada
Since 2001, the Buddhist education foundation has advocated, fundraised and donated to support courses, Fellowship and Professorship related to Buddhism and mental health at the University of Toronto. In 2014, we donated $100,000 toward a $1.5 million endowment to establish the Shi Wu De Professorship in Chinese Buddhist Studies at Emmanuel College. This endowment enabled the creation of a Buddhist stream in the Master Pastoral Studies program in 2015, educating future professionals in spiritual care.
