Help Janet raise money

For participating in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race 2020

My Story…

I am privileged to serve as President and Chair of the Board at Canadian Celiac Association.  Together with our Executive Director and several other board members, I have committed to completing the “Whole Shebang” - walks/runs of 42.2 km, 21.1km, 10 km and 5 km, all during the month of October !

I am looking for your support: to join me in this journey or any part of it, or to donate to CCA.

Why CCA?  My eldest daughter and husband live with celiac disease and we turned to CCA as a trusted source of information about symptoms, testing, follow up care, finding safe foods, navigating labels.  CCA is advocating for better awareness and diagnosis of celiac disease; has helped our government with food safety and labelling standards; and provides support to thousands of Canadians.  CCA has just adopted a new strategic plan and our goal is to empower Canadians with celiac disease and gluten disorders to live their best lives.

Description

The Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) is a volunteer-based, federally registered charitable organization with its national office in Mississauga, Ontario. CCA serves people with celiac disease and gluten-related disorders through affiliated chapters across Canada. The CCA is here to help people with celiac disease and gluten disorders to regain power over every aspect of their lives. With increased research incentives powered by our donors, community networking, and mutual supporters, we are regaining power over our disease, our bodies, and our lives. Your support provides advocacy, education, and resources to those with celiac disease and gluten disorders.
