My Story…
My neighbour, who I ran with regularly before covid-19, invited me to run a half marathon again this year. And of course I chose to run in this event, and to fundraise for CES Canada. Covid-19 has impacted the students and alumni that CES supports in Kenya and they especially deserve financial support this year. Please help to raise funds for high school and college / university students from the Kakamega Province of Kenya who met the rigorous requirements for support from CES. And in so doing you will also be encouraging me to run on their behalf - for the 12th half-marathon running on their behalf. And Holly and I will match donations, up to $2,500. Welcome to the challenge!
Description
Participants will create networks for others to join Team CES Canada. All will receive authentic pieces of Kenyan art as well as a certificate of commendation. Contact asante@cescan.ca for more information.
