My Story…
Dear friends and family I hope this message finds you all well and enjoying fall safely. Similar to many other charities, the COVID19 pandemic and the resulting necessary restrictions around public gatherings have created a serious challenge for People to People Canada (P2P)’s fundraising events. The good news is, events like the STWM which is our primary fundraising venue have responded to the challenge by pivoting the event to the virtual world. This year, P2P needs your support more than ever!!! With your generous support, P2P’s sponsorship program has transformed the lives of over 500 Orphans, many of whom have become self-sufficient and give back to society. I have signed up for the P2P team for the 2020 STWM 5k Virtual Challenge that will take place between Oct 1st – 31st 2020 and I am once again asking for your support. Please support me in reaching my $4,000 fundraising goal for P2P’s Orphans support and Community health programs. Thank you! Mesrak
Description
The most recent UNICEF report on Ethiopia shows that that there are still very large numbers of OVCs in most urban centers in Ethiopia.
Many of these children desperately await access to the life-changing opportunity the children supported by P2P and similar charities have.
With the generous support of people like you, we are committed to continuing to brighten the future of as many of these OVCs as our resources can reach.
P2P’s Orphan Sponsorship Program is delivered on the ground in Ethiopia by our partner organizations HIDO and HOH.
P2P also continues to engage in Community Health and Mental Well-being advocacy and education initiatives in the Greater Toronto area.
